hello everyone!

this morning i set my clock for 6:00 so that i would get up and study some more for my new testament class.  well, that didn't work out the way  i planned.  i rolled out of bed at 7:50 in just enough time to brush my teeth and go to class.  the test was not as hard as i thought.  i didn't make a hundred but i did pretty good.  thank goodness all of the fill in the blank questions were bonuses.  i am very appreciative to scott for that. 

last night i got some very sad news.  my boyfriend, kyle, called me at 2:00 this morning telling me that his granddaddy died.  so please remember him in your prayers. 

we are supposed to be getting some pretty severe weather today.  i am so not excited.  i hate bad weather.  i get so scared.  does everyone remember mandy holdiness talking about her fear of deer while she is driving?  well my fear while i am driving is hard rain.  so everyone remember me today when it's raining and i am having to drive to philadelphia to go to work.

i'm sure that everyone us totally excited about spring break which is in like 2 days.  i wish that i could say the same.  i was excited until i went to work tuesday and found out that all of the workers who don't go to school are getting my spring break.  i get one little day.  how's that for a funfilled spring break?  i hope everyone has a great week.

so yesterday i had to observe little kids for child psy. it was freakin hilarious. one little boy walks up to his little friends and says "well well well.. its a strange day in the neighborhood. who you gonna call?? GHOSTBUSTERSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!"

i always knew that one day i would grow up and now that is really starting to happen. yesterday my future roommate britney and i went to starkville to make our living arrangements for next year finalized. i cant wait until august 8, 2006!!! that is the day we will be able to move into our new apartment. we will be living right across the parking lot from our best friends from highschool. 

things are changing in my life and i guess its for the better.  it will be hard adjusting to not seeing my parents every single weekend but i think i'll manage.

my sister morgan had a baby last weds february 22. this is her 2nd child, a boy. 7lbs 11oz and 21 inches long.  his name is bradley middleton smith and he is the cutest thing!

i have a busy rest of the week planned. thursday and friday i am off with the choir to jones jc for choir festival. then saturday, the accents will perform at loose caboose in downtown newton. we will be singing around 12 oclock please attend if you can.

I am just sitting at House 18 until i have to go to Ac'cents practice and Lydia and Steph just came in .  Lydia was boasting about her 93 she made on her first bio test of the semester.  I wish that I could say all of my first tests turned out so well...but i cannot.  Unfortunately!!!  I was filling out a scholorship application the other day and i had to give my accumulative GPA.  It is a 3.36.  Nothing to brag about.  Then totalled up what i would have to make this last semester at eccc and that is a 3.9.  Talk about being a little stressed out.  Right now with the grades that i am making the odds are not in my favor. 

On a different note, i have some really GREAT news!!!  Lately i have been kind of worried about where i am going to live and who i am going to live with next year.  Then yesterday everything was all figured out.  One of my very close friends from high school is going to the W and is majoring in the same thing i am, which is speech pathology.  So now i am totally siked about school next year!!!  I was already excited but now everything is starting to work itself out. 

All of my classes for Friday have been cancelled except for my 9:00 and my 2:00.  I think I might skip my 9:00 and just have a nice sleep in morning.  I may even decide to go home Thurs. night after work but who knows.  I know that my parents would be so happy if i did go home.  

Well i need to make a phone call so i hope everyone has a GRAND DAY!!!

hello everyone!!!  i'm sorry i have not updated in about a week, but at least nobody left a comment that said you need to update. 

i am just sitting at house 18 until i have to start getting ready for the ac'cents thing that we have today.  we are singing at the hilton in jackson.  i am excited!  this is the first day in a long time that i have not had somewhere to be or something to do.  i did not have to go to work today...yay!!!

well...not a lot has been going on with me except going to class and going to work and going to starkville to see all of my people up there.  i know that everyone is jealous of my schedule. 

meagan mills keeps telling me that i smell soooo good!!! what should i think about that?  what does everyone else think about that?  let me know.  well i gotta go get all cleaned up.  i hope meagan does not attack me when i get out of the shower.

Well hello there everybody!!!  I hope that everyone had a wonderful MLK day.  I had the best weekend ever!!!  My friends have been making fun of me because i have been so giddy.  I mean this with all sincerity...it is nice to be giddy again.  All afternoon i have been hanging out with Jaimee, Celeste, Diedre, and Courtney.  Lydia was here for a little while but she ditched us to go be with her dang parents.  She gets a big fat LAME!!!  And oh my goodness, we are all sitting here talking about ACT scores and of course my score was the lowest.  Right now Rebecca Washburn is in our house and she just told us that she was at the police station today flirting with the cops.  Can you believe that?  I know that this is entry is kind of LAME  but you'll get over it.
